The Karate Club Bellinzona is proud to announce one of the most prestigious events as part of the celebrations for its 50th anniversary: the International Cup City of Bellinzona, which will be held in June at the Bellinzona Sports Hall.
This extraordinary event aims to bring together athletes and enthusiasts from no less than 17 countries, including Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Romania, Ireland, Greece, Spain, England, Hungary, Poland and Switzerland. It will be a unique opportunity to experience the magic of high-level competitive karate.
This event is much more than a competition: it is an opportunity to celebrate the values of karate, forge lasting bonds, and create unforgettable memories. We look forward to welcoming you to Bellinzona to share in this extraordinary occasion!
Dates and Programme
International Cup City of Bellinzona
Saturday 14 June 2025 (09:00 – 17:00) – Competition dedicated to black belts aged 18 and over.
International Kyu Tournament
Sunday 15 June 2025 (09:00 – 17:00) – Competition for the 6th to 1st Kyu categories, open to young athletes aged between 10 and 20.
Not Just Competitions
In addition to the contests, this event will offer two moments of socialising and fun for both athletes and their companions:
Seminar with Hanshi Rikuta Koga, 9th Dan

Sayonara Party
On 14 June 2025, a special evening will take place at the Bellinzona Expo Centre, featuring dinner and entertainment from 20:00 onwards.
