The Karate Club Bellinzona is proud to announce one of the most prestigious events celebrating its 50th anniversary: the International Cup – City of Bellinzona, scheduled to take place in June at the Palasport in Bellinzona.
To mark this special occasion, numerous European delegations have been invited, with the aim of creating a moment of connection and exchange among athletes, coaches, and karate enthusiasts from across the continent. The goal is to offer a high-level competition while promoting the universal values of karate: respect, discipline, friendship, and mutual growth.
The delegations from Romania, Holland, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, Denmark (attending with its international referees) and of course Switzerland have already confirmed their participation.
This event is set to be an important opportunity to experience the spirit of karate in an international and celebratory setting. The Cup is much more than a competition: it is a moment of unity, cultural exchange, and a tribute to half a century of history of the Karate Club Bellinzona.
Dates and Programme
International Cup City of Bellinzona
Saturday 14 June 2025 (09:00 – 17:00) – Competition dedicated to black belts aged 18 and over.
International Kyu Tournament
Sunday 15 June 2025 (09:00 – 17:00) – Competition for the 6th to 1st Kyu categories, open to young athletes aged between 10 and 20.
